Wheatley Waterdog's Deacon

Deacon is the son of Sailor and Mack born January 6, 2014 as part of Sailor's Dozen litter.  Each dog name in this litter began with the letter "D". 

Deacon is owned by our great friends Christine & Dave Pitcher and just loves life!

The Pitcher family came to us looking to purchase a puppy and we became fast friends.   While Deacon was the pick of the litter we had never really talked about using him as part of our breeding program.  As a result, Christine had arranged to have him neutered at the vet clinic we both we both went to.  It wasn't until Deacon was on the surgical table about to be anaesthetized that I got a call from Mary MacKay, my breeding mentor who works there.  Mary asked, "are you sure you want this beautiful boy fixed?"  I quickly called Christine and the rest is history. 

He has since gone on to become a CKC Canadian Champion and has exceeded our expectations.
